Roster reads your workouts from Apple Health — whatever recorded them, a Watch, a treadmill app, a gym machine — and turns them into points. There is nothing to start, stop or remember. If you have no tracker, workouts and step counts can be typed in by hand.
A club runs a competition every month, between people who know each other. Points come from how long you went, how far, how much you climbed, and your daily steps, at rates your club sets per sport. You can see exactly how any activity was scored.
A club cannot be found or browsed. The join code is the only way in, and it comes from somebody already in it. There is no public profile, no follower count and no feed of strangers.
It is used to work out your own effort bonus and is never shown to anybody — not a number, not a chart. The details of a workout are shared with your club only if you turn that on, and it is off until you choose.
